"Smart City" is the concept of integrating several information and communication technologies (ICT) and Internet of Things (IoT solutions) to manage city assets. City assets include local information systems departments, schools, libraries, transport, hospitals, power plants, water and waste management systems, law enforcement and other public services, among others. The goal of a smart city is to improve the quality of life by using urban informatics technology to improve service efficiency and resident satisfaction.
